After you bring your tree home, saw a couple inches off the bottom before setup. Once a tree is cut, pitch oozes out and seals the pores. Sawing off the base opens up the pores, allowing the tree to absorb water.
Keep your watering consistent! Do not let the water level go below the tree base.
Keep the tree away from heat ducts
